The innovative crypto trading card game Fantasy has officially launched on the Blast mainnet. Following a robust test phase, the game introduces a unique concept in which crypto influencers are featured as tradable cards, enhancing user engagement through direct interaction.

Players can trade these influencer cards, with each transaction providing a 1.5% revenue to the influencers depicted. This model was well-received during the testnet phase, attracting significant participation and investment.

In February, “Fantasy” secured $600,000 in funding from notable investors including Alliance DAO and Fabric Ventures and industry figures like Santiago Santos and Bryan Pellegrino.

Engagement and Growth on Blast Network

The game’s move to the mainnet is expected to replicate its testnet success, where key influencers, including Ansem, generated substantial trading volumes. “Fantasy” also offers competitive elements, allowing users to engage in contests using their collected cards. This feature proved popular during testing, drawing in nearly 24,000 participants.

Blast, the Layer 2 network supporting “Fantasy,” also went live on mainnet recently, promoting a yield model for cryptocurrencies. Developed by Tieshun Roquerre, creator of the NFT marketplace Blur, Blast provides a platform that combines efficiency with enhanced transaction capabilities.

As “Fantasy” integrates fully with the Blast network, the combination of innovative gameplay and strategic partnerships points towards a promising future for the game and its players. This integration highlights the potential for creative approaches in the evolving landscape of blockchain gaming and cryptocurrency.
